The Golden Phoenix Inc. is a player-run corporation based in the MMO EVE Online and was founded on March 30, 2006 by Nailo Zook. Most of our members are located in Canada (GMT/UTC -7).
We are a friendly, faction warfare-neutral corp currently based in empire space, with plans for future expansion into lowsec.
Our primary focus for now is PvE, including mission running (levels 1-4, all types), mining/salvage, production, and helping our members grow.
Headquarters is located at Bereye III - Moon 1 - Roden Shipyards Factory. Additional offices can be found at Ghesis V - Moon 9 - X-Sense Chemical Refinery and Mies V - Moon 17 - Federal Administration Information Center.
At this time, the majority of our operations take place in and around Bereye, Mies, and Arnon in the Gallente Federation.
The Golden Phoenix Inc. aims to allow its pilots freedom to develop their skills in whichever direction interests them (within reason) while contributing to the corporation as a whole.
Following are our rules and guidelines which we expect corp members to adhere to while pursuing their goals.
We support the following pilot activities:
Group mission running, mining, and other operations
Missions for all non-pirate agents
Establishing diplomacy with other organizations
Promoting an environment where everyone can have fun
To that end, the activities we do not tolerate are:
Piracy, griefing, scamming
Slave trading
Stealing from other players (whether inside the corp or not)
Any activity (excluding self-defense) that may result in war with another corporation without express CEO/Director of Security approval
In 2010 our goal is to reorganize and expand The Golden Phoenix Inc. Below is a brief overview of our plans.
Phase 1 – Growth
PvE Focus
Recruit a larger player base to diversify our corp
Help our members to develop their strengths
Consolidate assets to increase usefulness
Run gang missions & mining ops to help us grow
Wormhole exploration
Establish a job roster to enable individual member contribution
Build up a reserve of raw materials for current and future projects
Phase 2 – Expansion
PvE focus moving into PvP
Move members into more specialized roles based on their skills
Establish highsec POS
Introduce regular in-corp events such as tournaments
Continue to recruit and grow
Increase market presence
