Recent days have seen the departure of Nailo Zook as our CEO and the transition of those duties to myself.
With the current state of uncertainty about the future of the Corp, we will have to examine what direction will be best for the remaining active members.

The Golden Phoenix Inc. is happy to announce the recent marriage of CEO Nailo Zook. Nailo and his beautiful bride were married on November 22, 2009 in Las Vegas, with friends and family (and about half the corp) in attendance.
All of us at The Golden Phoenix Inc. wish Mr. and Mrs. Zook the best.

Golden Phoenix Remains Neutral

In a press conference today, The Golden Phoenix Inc. announced that, amid growing hostilities between the major governments of New Eden, they would remain neutral in all conflicts.
Corporation CEO Nailo Zook was quoted as saying, "We'd prefer not to force anyone into something they aren't ready for or interested in. Pilots should make their own decisions on this."
This announcement reflects the multi-racial nature of corporation membership and TGPI's respect of each member's individual alliances.

Petty Thief Meets Unfortunate End

The Golden Phoenix Inc. (New Eden Market: G.P.) hit a noteworthy growth milestone today, experiencing its first incident of corporate theft. The culprit, one Katja Zhthrass, attempted to make off with a stockpile of goods from the corporation hangar.
However, the would-be raider found herself thwarted by carefully-regulated access to the hangar. Prevented from pilfering any high-end technology or goods from the corporate stores, the thief turned to petty items kept in an unsecured general locker.
Further investigation by Director of Security Devan Corvel, with the assistance of the local DED detachment, lead to the discovery of the remains of the perpetrator. Apparently unaware that one particular crate contained Slaver Hounds recovered from an illegal slave trader's wreck, Ms. Zhthrass met an untimely end.
Adding a dose of sad humor to this tale was the further discovery that Ms. Zhthrass had made use of an illegal cloning facility, resulting in a rather unpleasant demise after already being devoured by Slaver Hounds. With no family members coming forward, The Golden Phoenix Inc. was awarded the sum of approximately $300,000.00 ISK, being the default beneficiary of Ms. Zhthrass's estate.
Officials from The Golden Phoenix Inc. attempted to keep their composure as this news reached them during a press conference. Many of their members were seen stifling laughs or other expressions of amusement as details of the incident were revealed. Mr. Corvel remarked that this would serve as a good learning experience for the corporation as a whole, and added, "The money from the inheritance will be used to purchase additional security."
